We are a dedicated team with a strong background in healthcare and support services. Our founder, Rachel have held various roles that have equipped her with valuable skills to assist participants with diverse disabilities and challenges.

Rachel, a nurse with 10 years of experience, brings a compassionate and understanding approach to our team. She has been passionately running Adventure Support for a year, finding joy in planning and executing well-crafted activities and trips that make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.

What Makes Adventure Support A Great Choice

Participants should choose Adventure Support because we are passionate about connecting the right people with the right support, believing that compatibility is key to achieving NDIS goals. We keep our group sizes small, with a maximum of six participants, to ensure everyone receives the attention they need while socialising in an intimate setting.

Our person focused approach recognises that support isn’t one size fits all. Our passionate team is dedicated to making a difference in the community and we offer age specific programs to ensure clients feel comfortable and engaged, creating fun and memorable experiences that last a lifetime.

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m the Co-founder of Adventure Support, bringing over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry. I’ve worked as a nurse in private and public hospitals across three different states in Australia.

I have a two-year-old son, Ziggy, who was love at first sight and has filled my heart with immense gratitude. My passion lies in helping clients make the most out of life. With my nursing background, I have the ability to listen to my clients and recognize what they need to achieve their goals. I am a strong advocate for my clients and believe in the power of collaboration within a team and with other industry professionals to achieve the best results.

I pride myself on effective communication and value the importance of ongoing relationships. Let’s work together to help you reach your goals

Hi, I’m Tom, the Co-owner of Adventure Support. Rachel and I are dedicated to helping as many people as possible. My passion for this work comes from my personal experience with family members who have disabilities. This has driven me to support our clients in living their best lives and achieving their goals.

I particularly enjoy working with young males, serving as a role model and companion. You’ll likely meet me if you join any of our programs, such as the After School Sports or Archery programs. I love helping young adults and teens engage in unique activities and take pride in providing a safe space for our clients to integrate into the community.

With a lot of patience and compassion, I look forward to meeting you!

Hi, I’m Jenaya. I have over 10 years experience within the industry, which 4 of those I was the director of my own company. I’m passionate about building supportive systems that make a real difference in people’s lives, and I love finding practical solutions that help things run smoothly behind the scenes.

My focus is always on creating a positive experience for both participants and staff, because I believe strong foundations lead to stronger communities.

 

 

In my downtime, you’ll often find me building elaborate Lego sets — it’s my favorite mix of creativity and problem-solving (and yes, I can get seriously competitive about it!).

I’m 21 years old. I started my support career in Bowen 2 years ago. I have grown up in a big family with many different needs, this has made me very passionate about wanting to support young people and their social and emotional development. I have a bubbly, outgoing, and friendly nature. I love a good chat, the great outdoors, cooking (and eating), and op-shopping – can’t beat a good bargain!

I’m all about genuine connections, big smiles, and creating a supportive environment. Hardworking and caring – I always go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels valued and heard. I have a particular interest in helping young adults and youth reach thier full potential, through being a trusted, reliable role model. I feel like with the right support anything is possible, I’d love to help you smash your goals!

I have 25 guinea pigs, which are known for their adorable squeaks and a highly social creatures and thrive in the company of their kind!

access, I am committed to making a meaningful difference. My goal is to create positive change, no matter how small, and help others realize their full potential.

By fostering a supportive and encouraging environment, I strive to build strong, trusting relationships with the individuals I work with. I believe that everyone has unique strengths, and my role is to help uncover and nurture those qualities.

Is a proud wife and mother of three, I cherish spending quality time outdoors with my family — whether it’s 4×4 driving along the beach, enjoying BBQs, swimming, jet skiing, or tubing.

Professionally, I bring over 8 years of hands-on experience as a qualified Support Worker, backed by an Advanced Diploma in Community Services, along with Certificate IV, Certificate III, and other relevant qualifications. I’m deeply passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential through meaningful, person-centred support.

I have been a dedicated support worker for the past 10 years, bringing my passion for helping others into every aspect of my work. With over 20 years of experience in archery, I have achieved several state titles in the past 4 years. My love for the sport extends to coaching, where I have had the privilege of training individuals of all abilities, including those with additional needs. One of my greatest passions is guiding teens and young adults through recreational activities such as pool, snooker, woodwork, and archery. I believe in the power of these activities to inspire, engage, and build confidence in young people, and I am committed to making a positive impact in their lives.

Whether I’m helping someone develop personal skills, manage daily activities, or just being there to listen, I’m dedicated to helping each person reach their full potential and confidently navigate their journey.

In 2011 I rode 280km on a road bike to raise money for cancer.

Hi, I’m Wayne! I have three wonderful kids, a grandson, and a blue dog named Maggie. With over 30 years of experience racing classic speedway sidecars, I’ve won various championship titles across Australia.

I’m often called a Jack of all trades because there’s not much I can’t fix. I take great pride in my work and believe in doing every job properly. With my extensive skills, I’m here to assist you with your property maintenance needs. Throughout my life, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, which I’m eager to share with anyone looking to learn. I’m very active and love getting clients out into the great outdoors. My deep passion for motorbikes often finds its way into my work. If you’re a bike enthusiast, I’m your person!
